Toshiba Tecra 550 CDT

I'm selling this laptop because i need the money. Its in almost perfect condition a few minor scuffs on the lid. No dead pixels. The ram was upgraded to 64 mB, and the hard drive was upgraded to 20 gB. I believe this laptop has a newer battery since its debut. i think u might be a lil high. I would pay 100 tops for it, cause u cant really do much with it anymore. Yes there is upgrades but for even the average or low end user, it will feel god awful slow.

Well i saw the same laptop on eBay for around 170 buy it now and that was with the original 4 gB hard drive or whatever it came with so seeing as how its got a 20 gB hard drive that makes up that difference. Also, im running windows 98 on it now flawlessly and it works good for low end things like microsoft office xp. It can play mpegs but obviously since it has only 4 mB of video ram and 266 mHz it cant render anything too advanced. If anyone else says its worth less i'll drop the price...

Im not attempting to thread ****, just thought I would voice an opinion as well.

The processer may be a slower one but the screen is a 1024x768 TFT screen.

It does have a 20 GB HD i would recommend somebody buy it for that, pull the 20GB and replace it with a smaller one and you got a good deal, the HD alone is worth almost half of that.

If it is for sale much longer, I will bite myself. Im checking funds. :D

thanks man. I know its worth that much.... another nice feature i would like to mention of this laptop is that it has 2 usb ports. I didnt think that woulda been the case seeing as how it was designed for win95, but they musta designed it for osr2... let me know whoever wants it
