I just got a Diamond Viper V770 AGP video card, but unfortunately it wont boot. I had the card checked out and it works fine. I checked out Diamond's troubleshooting on the web, and tried all possible solutions but to no avail either. The latest flash upgrade for my bios didn't do much as well.
The problem is that it locks up on or before the "System Configuration" screen (before booting to Windows). It boots only if I disconnect the Primary Master HDD. It either doesnt detect it during boot or something else is wrong. The strange thing is that the BIOS is able to autodetect it. I tried using other HDDs but the same result. Anyone have an answer? Thanks.
