Hello,
I want to install a fan for my VooDoo3 but my MB only has one power interface for a fan and it's being used by my CPU fan. How else can I power-up this fan? I have a SS7 M577 borad.
Thanks,
Tom

u get a Y cable for the 3pin fans i think u can get one at http://www.computernerd.com for 2$ but im not sure
I have fans with no connectors. I simply strip 1/4" off the end of the wire, twist the strands and bend them back on the jacket. Then I slide them into an unused drive connector. Yellow is +12V, Red is +5V and both Blacks are Ground. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

All my drive connectors are used.

You may want to consider buying a bigger power supply. If you put a splitter on an existing cable you may get data corruption on your drives.
I know this since I went through this before I reallized my PS couldn't kick enough power for everything.

I have two HD, CD-Rom, and a CD-RW along with a VooDoo3 3000. Does anybody else think I should upgrade my power supply? I currantly have a ATX 250 volt.
