I just installed a network card on my older computer today I started the computer and it booted fine... then I tried to play Quake. The sys was running fine then it hung up. I restarted the comp and it restarted fine again. Finally I tried to play Quake again and low and behold the comp froze again. So I restated it but now it doesnt boot... all it does it beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep... it keeps doing that... the moniter doesnt show anything and I cant get to the BIOS. What do I do? take out the network card and see what happens? I will try that in the morning anyother suggestions to what I should do?

You answered your own question, yes, take out the card, check all the connections, try it again without the NIC. From what I understand getting a bad NIC is not that uncommon.
