6800 GT drivers??

anyone know where to get some good drivers for HL2 for this card? or just good drivers period..?

If you are running XP, use these:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_66.93

Be sure to completely uninstall your old drivers, and run a program like DriverCleaner to be sure you completely get rid of your old set of drivers, before you install the new ones.

Yes. On the newest 66.xx drivers, HL2 runs like no tomorrow. 4xAA, 8XAF, 1280X1024 res, all details up....

See pistol, bunjerman is my friend in RL, and he was posting for me. I really don't see what is wrong.


My bfg 6800 gt got here today, and its really blowing half-life for me. I've posted a few times in the gaming forum about it, but i'll post over here.

So I just got my card, and I booted up HL2 and I really can't get over 60 fps. I left settings as recommended, tried it, moved them down, tried it, moved them up, tried it, and it still isn't running like this nice card should. Anyone wanna help ?

Ok MJC... I ran the 3dMark, and I got 3026. I have a feeling thats not very good. I was getting something like 12 fps.
