BigMac 07-15-1999, 09:31 AM What are you doing with them, playing football? Do you move your rig alot, maybe your slave is mounted badly and is subject to more vibration than your master? Just guessing.... Ygor 07-15-1999, 11:05 AM Are they the same brand? Are you overclocking? Some don't take as well to that as others. Also in any brand, there are some that just don't work as well/last as long as others in the same production run. Callas 07-15-1999, 11:16 AM If these bad sectors are giving you fits in Windows, you can "fix" them with Norton Utilities. Norton Utilities will work around them so that Windows doesn't keep demanding a disk scan everytime you boot. The best way to buy Utilities is in the Systemworks package. PJWright 07-17-1999, 03:54 AM Thanks for suggestions. Ps By the way,why am I listed as a junior member at the the age of 72 ? Should this be a new topic? SysOpt.com
