What I have is a cablevision high definition decoder (scientific atlanta explorer 4200hd, to be specific). What I don't know is how to run it through the computer at hd resolutions. My All in Wonder card will pump it through at normal resolutions. But I want better. I guess what I don't need is a hd tuner since the cable box does that. Do you know what I mean???

which talks about this and it looks like the answer is no. i'm gonna keep looking.

You will need composite cable. HDTV requires 3 seperate cables for picture R G B (Red Green Blue) then you will need a seperate cable just for audio. Think your out of luck on this one. Unless you purchase a Home Theatre receiver.
