How to do a research paper on Gun Control?

What is Gun control anyway, i know gun control is a privilege for anyone that over 18 or 21(depend on the State) to own a gun with license that purchase from Gun dealer. But how i do a research paper on it? i dont against it.. or favor gun control.... i just want government to punish ppl that use gun to kill ppl.

can some1 give me some idea on what i should write about Gun Control? The research paper must have 2,000-2,200 words and must have 10 Sources.


can some1 provide me some sources.. i have some but it seem they are not that useful..

i really dont want to ruin this course.. some1 give me a hand..

You need to take a look at both sides of the issue and analyze the results. Start by taking a look at countries or states that have minimal gun control laws and look at the crime rates for all murders and robberies. Next compare their statistics with countries that have strict gun laws. A research paper basically requires that you amass data on the subject, present it in an organized logical manner and form a conclusion based on the data in an unbiased manner. It is not to be confused with a documentary which is a one person view of only what he or she wants you to see, ie...9/11 by Michael Moore.

Hint...Statistics are available from government web sites, law enforcement web sites and organizations like NRA and anti gun organizations. You need to filter through all the bull. Remember, just the facts.
