Stuck Again HL-2 Route Kanal

Man guys, how do I get out of here. I can almost make it across the nuke water, but just can't make it--so maybe that is not the way to go, but can find no other way out. Help!

Go back and get your airboat. Don't get rid of it until you HAVE to, which is quite a few level loads to say the least. You have to get off the airboar several times, but each time, you have to get back on. If you get lost, look at the help guide post by MJC.

Man, I have missed quite a few things, per walkthrough MH directed me too. Where is the airboat??

I went through the area where they rocket you, and two people get killed, then some head crabs, then a couple zombies--go through to the to a raidio-active area, then up to the right and around to open a big gate(grate) to water hazard, then to a barn structure, and kill a couple headcrabs, and release the supply container in the attic, and then past a pipe and some rocks, but exit is blocked by gates/bars on the left, and then the water(acid I guess), on the right, this is right past the puzzle for the air boat.

Where did I miss the airboad, I am going back, but doubt is enough time before football. Now I see why the there was a dock at the barn(for the airboat).

I saved a buch of times trying to get past this acid water, hope I can go back to get the boat lol

I agree...only use it to find the airboat you missed, then disregard it until you absolutely need it again, it spoils the game.

Go to new game (if you don't have an autosave of the beginning of the level) and click route kanal or possibly the one before it given that it may start you with the airboat you don't have - worth a shot either way.

Thats a new one....I'm suprised you got that far w/ out it. Go back to beginning of route kanal, you'll find it. BTW, the puzzles aren't so hard that you'll need a walk through. If you just keep looking around, you'll be fine. I find it helpful to just look around...up down and all over buildings, usually there is somethign to indicate what you need to do. Something shiney or sparking, lil things put in by developers to help with puzzles. Anyway, hope ya find the airboat. gl hf

Have not gone back to game yet, but when I find the airboat, I am sure I will get a laugh.

This is my first adventure/puzzle type game I have played(except for demo of farcry). I am kind of new to this. I had half-life origional, but only played counter-strike online. I have been more into sims, but this HL-2 looks so cool, just had to give it a shot. I am enjoying it, but like you said, how did I miss the boat lol

I don't see how you can NOT get the airboat. . .Isn't it part of the story line? Not like you have to hunt for it or anything. And once you get it, you keep it all the way until it is taken away from you as another part of the story line. How could he miss the airboat? That air boat is one tough little S.O.B. by the way.
