HI,
I've recently purchased an AMD K6-2 400, 64 megs, 6.4 HDD, AX59 pro etc.....anyway, after dividing the HD into 2 partitions (4 and 2.4 gigs approx.) with Fdisk and instaling Win 95 I restarted the computer and the message "windows protection...IOC....please restart" pops up. After restarting the same message appears or the selection of safe mode normal mode comes up. I select normal mode and the process begins anew..............HELP!!!!!!!!

Sounds like Windows release 1 and the AMD bug. If you clock that CPU below 350Mhz you should be able to get it to work. Then, Microsoft has an update for Windows 95 that fixes the problem on their website. Download the file with another machine if you prefer and then install it.
