When powering on system with on-board video --monitor power light comes on and stays yellow. Should be green. I get nothing on the screen. Using ISA video card monitor works fine. Older Microstar Mobo. Award bios. Problem with Video chip on Mobo? Bios Problem?? Any ideas?

Make sure the onboard video is enabled in the BIOS, also, some boards require the ram in the correct bank for onboard video use.Has the video been used in the past? There could be a jumper that disables it too? The light should definitely turn green!!
