Johnny Fist 11-16-2004, 11:35 PM FIREFOX...I can't believe this question even needs asked. mireland 11-16-2004, 11:43 PM It would seem to me firefox would be more secure..I know I haven't been subjected to much if ANY pop ups or attacks of some sort...:t patrickt 11-17-2004, 08:49 AM I am using IE this week. Used Firefox last week. I am not an engineer but with IE I get no popups. I have ActiveX on demand only with IE so that problem isn't a worry. I refuse cookies with both. Going to accept a cookie for an appropriate site is a little easier with Firefox. I downloaded Firefox last week and used it. If I had a use for tabbed browsing I'd probably still be using it but the photos that don't appear--as with EBay--and the sites that I couldn't access--ones that require ActiveX--made going back to IE the thing for me to do. You shouldn't just be blase about security with it and assume it's more secure. Both can be perfectly secure with the right precautions. SysOpt.com
