My favorite is a Bates wire spool stapler. Circa 1950. Does any know where I can get the wire? I bought it second hand and it was full, but I can't find a refill. Boo hoo!!!

Thanks, that's the one Fancy, but for $22.00 for 5000 staples that's a lot of cash.

I'm sure when they figure out that I'm in Hawaii it will be another ten smackers. Most folks don't know we are a state in the USA.

Like I said, most of these guys don't know that Hawaii is in the USA. Education is not a strong point in America. Besides that most commercial business in America won't use the USPS for packages because the have a horrible insurance policy, mail gets stolen all the time by the postal employees and the vendors are afraid they might go postal if they complain. Even then, $12 is a bit much for a little spool of brass wire. It is a cool stapler though. I don't know why they quit making them. Regular staplers jam alot and are a pain to refill. The only problem I could see with the Bates stapler was the number of papers they would handle. Ten was about the limit for regular printer paper.
