Circa 1950. Does any know where I can get the wire? I bought it second hand and it was full, but I can't find a refill. Most folks don't know we are a state in the USA. j.m@talk 11-14-2004, 03:02 PM USPS charge more too ? We gotta national rate which includes our offshore islands :) Takes a lil longer but it gets there ukulele 11-14-2004, 04:36 PM Like I said, most of these guys don't know that Hawaii is in the USA. Education is not a strong point in America. Besides that most commercial business in America won't use the USPS for packages because the have a horrible insurance policy, mail gets stolen all the time by the postal employees and the vendors are afraid they might go postal if they complain. Even then, $12 is a bit much for a little spool of brass wire. It is a cool stapler though. I don't know why they quit making them. Regular staplers jam alot and are a pain to refill. The only problem I could see with the Bates stapler was the number of papers they would handle. Ten was about the limit for regular printer paper. j.m@talk 11-14-2004, 04:48 PM I guess ya'd have to buy a moosin' great big reel of the stuff :( Ya could allways hollow out a tree & paddle over & save a $ or 2 :p genesound 11-14-2004, 04:50 PM LOL :D j.m@talk 11-14-2004, 04:53 PM HOLD THE FONE http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=969&item=2285400668&rd=1&ssPageName=WD2V :t ukulele 11-14-2004, 05:17 PM Originally posted by j.m@talk HOLD THE FONE http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=969&item=2285400668&rd=1&ssPageName=WD2V :t Cool, I'm watching that one.
