Click on start then go to programs, then accessories, then system tools, then go to system information. Also put the win98 cd in the cdrom. click on tools, then system file checker. Then click extract one file from installation disk. In the browse box type manp.dll then click start. In the restore from box type D:\WINDOWS98 where "d" is your cdrom drive then on the extract to box type C:\Windows or C:\Windows\System whichever place the file should be at, I have no idea where it goes since that file isn't on my hard drive. I don't use dynamic link library. It's probably C:\Windows then click ok. It should say one file extracted, if not try it again. Sometimes it takes a few times for it to extract. I know this because I had a similar problem and a Microsoft Tech. told me this. It should fix it. If not let me know. Also try the C:\Windows\System one if it don't work on C:\Windows. It would ask me for some kind of vxd file when I booted up so I deleted everything related to the obdc files and it stopped asking me for those files, so basically unless you use it, it's useless.

Another way I found works it to do a 'find' for it on the computer and if there's a second copy it will be in the shared or common files folder directory just copy it to the windows directory and that works too.
