Just purchased an ATX Midi tower. put my tx pro II motherboard in. there is a jumper pin setting on the motherboard for power called j1. Without a jumper in there nothing happens. With the jumper in 4-5, I can power up the first time and shutdown correctly with the power being automatically turning off but I can not turn back on using the power button on the front of the pc. I have played with the stanby switch connector but cant seem to get it to work. To start it I have to unpug the power take the jumper on j1 out power up, power down put the jumper back in and it will start. I know I am missing something simple. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Just a sugestion -
try unpluging components first, CDRom, floppy, HD, etc. - one at a time and see if at some point your box will turn on.

Thanks tried that no joy. Tried with just the power in the board and cpu fan still no joy. I am sure it is something to do with the J1 setting but just havent got it right yet.
