Windows-Update blocked in win2k

1. i tried to run online-scan of pandasoftware but an internetexplorer-error popped up

2. i tried to run windowsupdate but a popup tell me to free a drive showing strange space- figures.
i have enough space on the partitions.

normally firefox is running. pandasoftware needs iexplorer.
at the moment trendmicro onlinescan is runnig.
escan did not find anything one week ago but avg(a trojan).

sorry i have posted the same problem already but still no solution.
1. i could update iexplorer already earlier by downloading from a special site and installing manually. i thought everything is ok
i have win2k german but update is english.
iexplorer 6.0.2500.0000 update version: 0

but then i recognized an iexplorer update on official windowsupdate-site. the mentioned popup was displayed(see the attachment).
i could only download the other two or three updates.

the problem has not gone. and none of the scans showed virus/trojans etc. maybe panda would since this service goes very deep.
pandasoftware-online-scan does not work.
i have a problem with internet explorer 6. english version.
maybe it would be wise installing german version. any hint where to get manually outside official location.
