Restart Windows 98

Restart will not work. I have to push the reset button on my computer 3-4 times before it will work. Once in a while it will restart when installing software but not all the time.

Make sure you are pushing the reset button in all the way, maybe a bad switch, as far as the computer restarting by itself, it is the processor most likely, had the same problem with a customers computer, after putting in the new processor it worked great!

Disable any TSR's and then restart your system..
