The fileplanet downloads are usualy pretty good. Usualy a 30min or so line, but after that you should get 100kb/s the whole way.

Beats starting right away then having it quit out half way through.

See though, this is another one of those games I dont know if I can play on a PC... It's ment for PS2 with a controller, not keyboard and mouse!!!! lol :p

I have a gamepad so it works fine for me.

Just got done fiddling around with it, the sound sounds better, the graphics are better, the car model looks better (the rims and tires spinning in game). I was playing at 1024 at med/high settings and it looked really nice.

Well atleast they put new stuff in it. Though I rather see more real world physics so that the game become alot harder espcially racing in and out of traffic and drags not to mention drift events ( there to easy ).

I think you really need a force feedback wheel to make driving games worthwhile.

Well me can't even play it, since when i run the game my whole screen covered with some kind of black layer. All i can see are street lights. All my other games play fine. I have ATI radeon 9800pro. Any ideas.

I turned off "Full Screen Anti-Aliasing" in the game options.

Unlike some of you guys that probably have the full original..I have only played the demo of both of them...

Graphics are good as always with NFS series games...and the driving is extremely flawless and very fast.....

Even if one uses the keyboard only..it seems to work just fine that way .....
The music was so so for me as they should have something like what I heard in NFS HP 2 ...."Bush." Now thats some nice music...

I bet this game rocks for online play..and i'm sure it would be alot of fun.... esp. to customize your car ect...

sweet game, I have NFSU and will get this one to, it plays pretty nice on my GT6800 every thing maxed out and the colors and graphics look awesome, the handling of the car is way cool. if you want to download it you get go to www.gamershell.com you shouldnt have to wait.

Well here's my take on it...

Definatly an improvment over the first one. The graphics are better, but just slightly. One thing that is definatly better is that the roads dont look like they're wet all the time. Physics seem a bit more realistic, especially when going into turns or using the ebrake. I say "seem" to be better because its been a while since i've played the first one, so I don't remember the feel exactly. The menu system is MUCH improved. And the most important addition... REPLAY'S are back!!!
