Compaq PCs' sleep mode/switch

Is it possible to disable the sleep mode/switch on Compaq PC, most people want them permanently disabled. it has been years since I've worked on a Compaq, but I'd like to accommodate them if I can.

My friend has a Compaq and I think it is a jumper on the board, or was it a bios setting which you may need that special disk that comes with compaq's for the cmos settings.

Disable "Energy Saver" in bios and disable all of the timeout settings listed for each periph. Old Comcraps require the Setup/diagnostic floppy but anything less than 2 years old should have the setup prog on the hard disk. You access bios by striking the F10 key immediately after the two POST beeps.
