A few months ago, I had 2 CD-roms plugged on my SBLive, one had the digital connector, the other had the "standard" connector. Cambridge TheatrWorks 5.1 is digital capable using SoundBlaster Live! sound card. I have the Diamond Monster Sound MX300 card and Cambridge FPS2000 speaker system but no digital sound-card-to-speaker arrangment. BTW you need full digital connection to record data/music to mini-discs. SysOpt.com
