boring game play? heck no! Painkiller was a remarkably simple game to play, and while it had the possibility to be horrible, they somehow pulled off a pretty decent gaming experience.

agree, not bad game at all considering all the other garbage that came out along with it, I found it fun.

That's me in the minority over here. I played the demo and was less than impressed. If I want eye candy with linear game play I'll pick up Doom3.....Wait....I did that already....

Well..thats the thing... linear gameplay it is...but they did a good job with it... nonetheless
I got the newest dmeo the other night and played it and ws pretty entertained and impressed with the graphics overall....
I believe gamers are fickle in that they always want to compare this game with that or could it be they are harder to please than some peoples ex wifes?
Say what you will, but the majority of the game reviewers thought highly of this game for what it is and or was meant to be.
If they would take a game like this and expand it to a bigger map and surroundings.....like a FarCry or somethingf then they would really have something there...
This game could go on my second short list with no problem...

I liked painkiller and I will get the sequal. It does have some boring parts, but at least its not the same corridor over and over and over...
Yep... I like it better than doom3 they made a point of varying the scenery, and for the most part you can see what you are doing. What good is a decent graphics card if the game is to dark to see?

painkiller is by no means a boring game. a good game with excellent cinemanics and a actual storyline something games normally lack. alot more blood then doom 3 but don't get me wrong doom 3 has alot. just throwing in my 1 and a half cents. buy the game first before you judge it don't always go by a demo
