Ok, I've been waiting for this game for the longest time. I don't know if my PC should be able to handle it:

AMD XP 3000+
768 MB PC2100 RAM
ATI Radeon 9800
Win XP pro

will this be enough, you think?

I think, it will be enough for 1024x768 and high details or even better.

Cool!

you guys think it'll improve if I bought a pair of crucial ballistix pc3200 RAM?

http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp?Mfr%2BProductline=ABIT%2B+Motherboar ds&mfr=ABIT&cat=&model=NF7&submit=Go

Here's a list for some RAM that's compatible with my motherboard. Which one should I get? Or should I hold on and wait for DDR2?

Oops I havent seen, that you only have pc2100 ram. your performance will increase significantly, if you use pc3200 ram.

do you have 166mhz or 200mhz fsb?

if you have 166mhz, pc200 should be enough if you dont overclock.

What FSB is the 3000+ at?

You could use a memory upgrade, but it should play ok without it. I would get PC3200.

My CPU FSB is at 333

You would need atleast PC2700 to run at 333. HL2 will run without the upgrade, but you are really limiting your system with the slower memory.
