Hi there,

I've got a little proble with my screen. Sometimes, my image on the screen start to shke very fast. It is not realy moving, but is jumping and it is annoying for the eyes. Could it be an electricity regulation problem? Is it my video card who's jerking? Is it my monitors? Is it my brainwho start to "fizzle"?????

Here are my specifications:

P II 400mhz
Trident 3d 8mb video card
goldstar studioworks 15" monitors
P2B-F Asus mobo

I've had only one case like yours and of course, the solution may be different... If you don't have a power regulator, get one; if you do, try plugging the pc power cable on the different conectors on the regulator...

Cheers!!!

make sure you dont have a fan or other electrical device running near the monitor. This will cause distortions on the screen

I have a t.v. near my computer. Could it be that?

it may. Turn the TV off and see if you still get the flicker.

Try a different refresh rate for your monitor.

I've had this problem approx. 3x. To solve this, just buy a new power cord for your monitor. I finally figured this out when I switched monitor cords with an old monitor.

Have you tried slapping the side of the monitor sharply. Sometimes this will re-establish marginal connections or dislodge conductive dust. Don't laugh-I've been doing this to monitors for years.

I am laughing..hehe snort,snort hehe
I also frequently attempt to beat my gear into submission. While it doesnt usually fix the device in question, it sure makes me feel better. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/redface.gif
