I have had REAL good luck with 366a celerons and bh6 boards, 413 mhz runs excelent and 458mhz is easy to acheive but have good airflow for extended use. They are usually around the same price as the 333a.A Creative Labs voodoo banshee agp card runs great with that setup, you can find them now for around 60.00.do you realy need the soundblaster live?,or can you get by with a yamaha or a sound blaster 32 card for around 30.00.U.S.Drives has a 44x cdrom for around 35.00 which i have found to be very reliable.
If you can get to a computer show find a CE super case, item:midi atx for about 35.00,they are very stylish and work well and the powersource is up and away from the cpu on the bh6,and this case has great air flow. good luck let us know what you decide.
MicroStar MS 6163 is the "BH6-2" More buss speeds, etc. Check it out at www.bxboards.com (http://www.bxboards.com) . They also used it to evaluate SDRAM at 143 and 153MHz ~ BX6-2 wouldn't cut it. Cost close to BH6.
I like to shop at www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) ~ better prices than some you listed.

I've overclocked everyone of my personal computers I've owned for the last 5 or more years, but the computer I keep my business records is running at default speed, I don't think someone running a mortgage business wants there computer overclocked. What type of Backup Unit do you plan to use on the computer that is going to run the Mortgage business?

Sounds like same system you described a few days ago.

i know but the gateway comp had intergrated sound audio and was quite expenxive if they want two. I tell you want i settle with and what they got when im down or if they just decide to buy one at some computer store. I want to build one because i need some cash. But they got plenty of cash from what i here.

I bought an Emachine with a K6-2/333k w/3dnow at a wholesale wharehouse for around 600.00 +tax.
Its a very stable computer and is compatible with alot of different accesories. The only thing extra you will have to but is backup storage media. That shouldn't run you too much more. You can charge them for the cost of your membership if you already have one. So if they ask you why the extra xx.xx dollars you say that it would of cost them the same anyway. Emachine has a 3yr extended warrenty for and extra fee. Throw the warrenty in and you are left out of the middle for repairs.
Check out their website.

Excellent suggestion! 2 of those plus an external backup unit, either tape or zip, you do the setup, you can make a few bucks & still avoid the warranty issue.

hey xtremsabu, you could probably get a job if you had better grammar and sentence structure. Ive read papers written by 4 year olds with better clarity.

Fish,
Did it ever occur to you that the internet is worldwide? That being the case, there are plenty of people in other parts of the world who don't speak English, hence, postings (and anything else they read) are translated to and from their native language. Language translation software has never been grammatically perfect, which is why you occasionally see things like "I wish i would win some like a videocard" instead of "I wish I could win some kind of video card", which is what I think he meant or was trying to say. There is also the possibility that he lives in the United States but, having come from another country recently, still doesn't speak perfect English and runs his computer in his native language, which brings us back to the translation software issue.
Better sentence structure? This from someone who starts his post with lowercase letters and puts "Ive" instead of "I've" or "I have"? Try taking your own employment advice!

Holy cow!! I've been framed. I let my stupid, sarcastic 16 year old brother use my ISP account for school and stuff. He is just learning computers so I introduced him to this site. My deepest apologies to xtremsabu. I did not write that post!! I've been posting here for months and would never insult anyone (maybe just a little harmless sarcasm). Anyway I need to kick a little younger brother **** now. Again, sorry about that

Here's an interresting story to go along with this thread...I work for a large Fire Department, and a few of years ago our new Chief thought it would be a good idea to get computers w/ ISDN lines to headquarters to send all the multitudinous(sp?)paperwork.A committee was set up,the hardware/software was bought, and a"very" basic computer class was taught to all the troops.During the class,I asked the instuctor,"All this is well and good ,but whose going to teach us how to type?".Needless to say,he didn't have an answer.......DawgTuff.
