I have an udma66 w.d hd and I've just realize that in the disk driver properties the dma box is unchecked I change it to check but after the restart the dma box was still unchecked. what can I do?

Go to the drives manufacturers webpage and get the instructions for disabling the 66 mode and enabling UDMA/33. Then it should work ok.
