A while ago I posted a message about how my computer was making a beeping noise, and that it wasn't booting up. Thanks to some help I identified it to be a "RAM Error." Now what could this mean, I took the RAM out and tried to put it back in one stick at a time, between installations I tried to boot up the computer, same beeping pattern, no visual on the screen (Its not the graphics card, tried many). What could be the problem, could all the RAM become messed up in some way?

What kind of mobo is it? (Brand, model #) what type of RAM is it? (#of pins, speed of chips, ECC or non ECC, EDO, fast page mode, voltage of RAM)

Do you have a friend that will loan you a different brand, I have found that sometimes just a different brand will work. Yes, you must have the right type (parity, non-parity, etc.)
