at this site it goes on about some super amazing ATI driver that will make my score much much higer. does anybody know about this or where i can get it?

please help i want a higher score.

I believe they are talking about the beta catalyst drivers. If so, they give a performance increase to ATI users with 256 meg cards. You can try using the latest ati omega drivers, but if you don't have a 256 meg card, don't expect a gigantic difference. 3dmark05 is supposed to kill the graphics cards of today, and it does a good job at that.

so where do i find the beta 8.07. they arent at that link you gave....or are they. please tell where they are on that page if they are.

you need to click on the link "install this driver hotfix."

the download says wxp w2k 807 right on it.

you should see some improvement:

When asked about the reasons, ATI said there had been a bug in memory management of AGP graphics cards with 256MB of memory which affected performance in FarCry, Unreal Tournament 2003/2004 as well as in 3DMark05.

The 4.10s are still not the same as the 8.07s. They are actually the 8.06s.

if you have an x800 or a card with 256mb ram, then yes.

trust me a lot better. look at the post your 3dmark05 scores forum and i got huge increase in my score. i went from 3700 to 4912!! on an 256MB X800 pro. ive still not posted my screenie so nobody probably beleives me.
