Leading Edge PC

I have worked on many pc/s and their software, but never on a "Lading Edge". System will not boot up full and as far as it does boot, we get hyroglifics across the screen and it just sits there. This pc also only has a 5 1/4 floppy drive but I could hook up a 3 1/2. Has 3.01 DOS but can't go any further to see what else it has. Any suggestions other than junking it?

YES. They used to make a decent looking desktop case.Remove the internals,clean the case with compressed air,install an AT style S7 mainboard setup,add a cdrom,fd and a decent size hard drive. My 2c

Do a floppy boot... if it works reinstall the OS on the hard disk.

get a budget... and a new pc
