burning CDRW?

I'm using a acer6502A CDRW with easy CD creator and direct CD softwares. I burned a few CDR and they seemed ok. The problem is when I try to burn a CDRW, easy CD complained it couldn't read that CDRW disc or whatever, I format the disc with direct CD and it appears only 550MB now, so how do you burn 650MB onto a CDRW disc?

I read that a cd-rw will only copy 529 mg onto the disc because of the format that it uses. Hope this helps.
