Okay, I am wondering, how do you delete a website completly from the computer? I know if you go into history and delete that but that doesnt get rid of the one in adress bar. Like if you type in a couple letters, those websites would come up. Any solutions?

;)

Hover the cursor over the one you want to delete until it highlites and then click the delete button on the keyboard.

The history from the toolbar is stored in an MRU list. I have no idea what MRU stands for.

If you use Adaware SE, you can scan your computer. In the negligible objects list, you can select several different MRU's. If you find the one for IE, you can clear it. This will also clear recent documents and the run dialog commands etc...

The only other way is to edit the registry where the lists are stored.

Simply deleteing it like Zenith suggests will not remove it permanently.

I have no idea what MRU stands for. Most Recently Used *S*

This should do it:
MRU-Blaster (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/mrublaster.html) .. from the same company who does SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard.

Link to: MRU-Most Recent Used. (http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/RegistryMRU.htm)

There is a Free MRU cleaner at the end of the page.

One of the best (not free) in this class of software is: Windows Washer. (http://www.webroot.com/products/windowwasher)

Lmao. I knew some sick person would think that, but seriously, its because I did click on one of those links (by accident of course). But the history links i'm talking about is from a while ago, like a month. It deleted the recent links but if I type in the start of the website it still comes up. Any other ideas? Thanks for the help btw.;)

Use Mrublaster; you can have it securely over write the files as many times as you want.

I downloaded the MRU Blaster but it didn't get rid of any webistes in the address bar. I'm not talking about recent ones, I'm talking about ones from a few weeks ago. Does anyone understand me? Lol.;)
