i am looking into buying a gaming laptop in the near future and i have found 2 laptops that i like, one has a mobile 9700 with 128mb ram and the other is the nVidia 5700go with 128 mb ram, which one of these has better graphics capabilities of the 2?

Just going off of the general rule of thumb for these two vendors, ATi probably looks better and nVidia probably offers faster frame rates (unless you want it to look good and turn on AA and AF, in which case it still won't look as good and is actually slower).

The 9700 mobility, right? Isn't it this?

I'd go with MR9700. Although it's only a R9600 4x1 core while 5700Go is 4x2 with the same number of vertex engines - FX generation is not something I'd get even in notebooks, moreover, despite MR9700 being more "powerful" in terms of performance, it will still save more of your battery due to more advanced techprocess.

Ive recently been told by voodoopc that they are going to be putting in a new nVidia card in their upcoming systems, so keep an eye out for what they have in store for us next
