Any video card out there that has component out instead of just s-video? If so, is there a big improvment over normal tv out or is it still just as blurry as most say it is?

S-Video splits the chroma & luminance down their own seperate cables - great quality Component works just like your VGA cable, the Red, Green & Blue signals all have their own wires and the quality you get is fantastic (provided your TV can handle it) You can do a bit of searching on the net and find some quick and dirty instructions about how to make a vga-to-component cable out of an old dead monitor's cable. I use one for my video projector and its just great. No video cards that I'm aware of have component-video out, but I might be wrong about that. In any case, you can still use the RGB output from your card to get the RGB signals. ShadeZeRO 10-14-2004, 09:05 PM The new radeons do i think, also the HDTV Tuner has it too doesn't it??? SysOpt.com
