warcraft help

I install starcraft & expansion set brood war ( original cd, just bought), but everytime I log on to battle.net the screen show me to download new update, but after download complete and restart the game they show different version and kick me out!

pc config:

emachines w4685
p4 2.6 (400 mhz)
512 mb ram
onbroad 845g graphic
soundblaster audigy 2 zx gamer

anybody can help?

Try going here and install the patches, just not through the game itself, and see if that helps.
