NV41...? So the NV40 > NV41
and
R480 > R430? but R480 is only PCI-E, which really really really sux for me...I'm gonna look into a new set of cards which hopefully have AGP variations...

Does that mean ATI will be releasing some PCI-E only cards in AGP format??? or what...or is it some sort of adapter to connect PCI-E cards into an AGP slot?

Not an adapter, but a chip that converts PCI-E signals into AGP ones (or vice versa). Anyh00t, Nvidia did it first. ;)

There probably wont be any "new" (as in faster than the current top end) cards before 2005 - i'd be willing to wager there may not even be any until the R5xx though i cant back that up of course.
