A musician friend has emailed me a
Wmplayer File (video/x-ms-wmv) to uplload to my site. The Audio portion is there but not the Video (his Video). It downloads the Codecs which I assume comes from a Microsoft site. Not familiar with these things. Am I doing something wrong or is he? I plan on putting this thing up so people can download it. Any good advice . Thanks!!

It could be, I remember having problems myself viewing wmv's with WMP8, installing WMP9 took care of that, i'm assuming it is because it installed the WMP9 codecs. I am not sure if you can download the WMP9 codecs seperately from WMP9 itself, if you search around on microsoft's site you might be able to find that out. If not, try upgrading to WMP9 or higher.
