How can I play network games behind a corporate firewall. Is there any program that can trick the firewall in thinking that the game runs over a well know port?

You need to set-up the proxy server IP address in the game so the firewall will let you play through it without severe interferance(LAG) plus the a port setting. Look for set proxies in your net game and input them. Most likely you will have to get them from the Network Administrator of your company or you can look in your Browser Options screen for the proxy setting.

Some programs have auto detect proxy server/settings. If your game has this use it. Some companies like mine are half the people use the proxy and others don't.

Or

This is a long shot but if the game doesn't let you set proxies then try opening your browser and then run the game to see if you can trick the firewall as long as the browser has some type of proxy setting (auto-detect or a IP address).

Good luck and let me know if you win(LOL).
