Hello All,
Anyone have any ideas for how to handle email at home for multiple computers? Leaving the mail on a server somewhere just won't work for us. We are currently running Mail Washer and Outlook. (a pain, but weeds out spam to some degree) We need access to the same email account on 2 or 3 of the computers. We just put in a home network and since we all share the same email address....we have an Outlook client on more than one pc... Now mail ends up on one or the other PC, but not both. Are there any options for us? Can I do a mail server? We want to have access to all of our old emails as well... I've been looking around for options.... Thanks for any ideas!!!

Mail server are generally expensive, and require a lot of work and time to setup.

However, this may be exactly what you want: http://www.outlookstore.com/

Thats looks like a pretty good solution! ....only unfortunate part is the cost.... Looks like its in beta now, but the trial version looks to have a 4 hour time limit on it without rebooting. Thank you very much for that suggestion. I suppose I can pay the hundred or so bucks.... I'm poor!

Your looking at higher costs than 100 bucks. I am not sure how the software works, but for three client licenses is $318.

You may need to buy a three client version for it to work, but the one client version may work as long as one person at a time uses it.

If you want to have the email on both computers you need to set outlook to leave the mail on the server. Then when the 2nd pc goes to check mail it will get a copy also.
