Hello!

I've installed a new 4.3 ide HD as a secondary master on a friend's pc. He originaly had a 500 megs hd as a primary master and a cdrom drive as primary slave.
I went to autodetect the new HD and it did the same with the previously installed drives, changing the original setup, which I unfortunately didn't write down. The system runs ok except for a very slow boot, which I know didn't happen before... any clues?

Thanks and cheers!!!

set the swap file to the bigger drive and see what happens. Why dont you take the new HD and set it as master and slave the older one to it? I am going out on a limb here but since the drive is 500MB, I would say it is rather old.
