Should i get the all in wonder 9800 or X800 pro? They are both about the same price. Does the all in wonder have digital recordings for your favorite shows?

Thanks :t

I'll definitly consider your suggestion. Any idea if the XT is much better than the pro. It is a $100 difference:(

Where did you find an x800pro for the same price as a 9800p AIW? Just curious b/c newegg still has the x800 pro about 100 bucks more expensive.

The AIW has a TV tuner, so you can watch/record TV shows, if that is more important to you than gaming performance, then perhaps the 9800P AIW is for you. That being said, the 9800P can still hold its own in new games at moderate quality settings, but the x800 is still the clear winner in terms of gaming.

The x800xt is definitely better, but just trying finding one at suggested retail price.

At best buy the AIW 9800 pro cost the same as the x800 pro. I guess it's better if I get a X800 since a tv card is probably not that expensive. For ATI video cards I usually go to best buy because i like build by ATi and the 10% discount this weekend on top of the reward zone coupons /w points it's not all that bad.

The XT definately is better than the pro...but your going to have to look at the benchmarks to see if its worth the $100 to you.

If watching TV is important then grab a dirt cheap TV tuner but def go for the XT.
Had my Leadtek tuner for over a year and it does all the things I need including using it as a VCR to record in mpg/divx/etc

X800Pro and
ATI TV Wonder VE, if you dont care much about quality, it's decent. Get the PRO if you want a good quality picture all the time.
