I have 2 modems one is ISA and the other is PCI. I want to add the ISA one but it keeps putting it in comm 1 or comm 2. And I can't access it. MY 1st modem is in comm 3. Is there any way to be able to dail with this 2nd modem. How do I move the modem from comm 1 or 2 to comm 3 or 4. The drop down box won't show it as an option. I would like to multi-link the modems.

There's nothing wrong with putting it at COM 1 or 2. Check what jumpers the ISA modem is set to, then disable that particular COM in your BIOS, and redetect that COM and the modem in WIN.
ISA are more user friendly than PCI.
If the working modem is on com 3, it would be best to configure new modem to com 2 or 4. Most ISA modems are jumper-configured, setup will be in it's book or marked on the card. Cannot be done via software, it's a real one, not plug-and-pray.
Ports 1 and 3 potentially conflict, as do 2 and 4. Mouse is usually on com 1, unless you're using PS/2 style, but better check if it's serial mouse, you don't want to kill it.
Once the hardware is configured, Windows should find it ok and configure software. Then will be accessable same as first one.
Are you attempting "shotgun" setup? Better check with your ISP before going to all the trouble, few support modem bonding. I've got all the hardware, too, but my ISP does not support it, and their deal is too good for me to change!
