We have a workstation here at the office that has a funny Outlook issue that I have never seen before. When you are typing a new message the bar on the bottom that displays the application name etc in the tastbar flashes orange. The new message then becomes inactive and you are unable to make any changes or do anything in the window.

Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone have a clue on how to fix it? Format etc. isn't an option since this workstation belongs to a Senior Partner and it's used in Audit production.

Oh....It's Office 2003

Thanks in advance...

Does this happen everytime you create a new message? What happenes when you click on the flashing taskbar item?

Could Outlook be autoarchiving or something?

Searched MSDN and didn't see anything real useful.

It happens when you create a new message and when you reply to one. If you click the flashing item you still don't get a response. I checked MSDN as well and nothing came up. Thanks for the response. I'll try repairing Office and see what happens.
