Browsing about I found this...the guy who found this fix is a genius and deserves a pat on the back...Doom 3 runs much more smoothly on my Radeon 9800 pro now. This is a great fix...

Old news, see the Doom 3 tweak guide we got here for the above "Humus" tweak as well as a few otheras. Cat 4.10 will also offer some improvments to Doom III performance for ATi users
