Well, I got bored and I wanted to play 7th Guest so I bought it and now I can't play it because it won't recognize my sound card. When I install the program, it asks me to choose my sound card and give settings. I gave all the proper settings (I/O 220, IRQ 5, DMA 1) and it told me my sound card wasn't responding to it. I tried all the FAQs and updated it to 1.30. Can anyone help me? I'm using an ESS Maestro-2E sound card (SB and SBPro compatible). This is a laptop running Win98.

Thanks.

Well, I found out that I can't install any digital sound on any DOS games. I tried installing Warcraft II and can only get music, no voices, same with Warcraft I.

Can anyone help? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
