I recently installed IE5 and now find that the shutdown of Win95 now takes about 30-45 secs with occasional hard drive activity. Before I installed IE5 it took about 5 secs to shutdown.
Once or twice it has hung at this point and I have had to press the reset button cos nothing else will work. A friend has noticed the same thing with IE5 after he installed it recently.
Has anyone else noticed this 'feature' with IE5 and on a more general educational note what happens in Win 95 when you hit the shutdown button?
Thanks in anticipation.
