Chaintech GeForce 4 Ti4800 128MB
Fan quit working. Where can I find a replacement fan? The graphic card is about one year old, it’s a replacement for the Ti 4200 that went bad. Thanks

That would be a replacement and an improvement at the same time :)

I purchased the NV Silencer 1 for a Chaintech GeForce 4 Ti4800SE Video card.
The video card does not have the 4 holes. I do not see any way to make this fan work with this video card.

You'll have to take the heatsink off the card too, not just the fan.

I have removed the heatsink and cleaned the paste off the GPU surface.

As you can see from the picture, the holes are not in the correct position.
Also, the picture was taken with a Dimage A2 in micro mode.

will just two of the holes in the new cooler fit on two of the holes on the video card? If so that may be secure enough.

I thought about trying to secure it with two studs. But unfortunately none of the holes line up with the studs on the cooler.
In my opinion Arctic Cooling has a poor website because they don’t show any mechanical drawings of their products.
The company says that Silencer 1 is compatible with the Nvidia Geforce 4Ti. *
*The compatibility list is an incomplete recommendation.
I have a NV Silencer 1 cooling for sale cheap.

Can you get me a pic of the back of your card so I can compare it to my Ti4600?
