My reset switch is not working anymore. I taught it was my mobo who was responsible for that but no. I think it is my reset switch that is involved in this. How do I check that and can I change it?

the reset switch is a cable on the MB that attaches to a set of pins. It is on the same part where all the LED's are. Check to see that all the cables are where they should be and are all secure
Connect an Ohm meter to each of the two leads going to the switch, press the reset button, the reading should go from a very high reading to 0 or real close to 0, if you have a digital multimeter that beeps with continuity, set at the lowest setting for OHM's and with each lead connected to the 2 wires leading to the switch, press the reset button it should beep, or the easiest way, with the computer booted, short the 2 pins on the motherboard that the reset switch connects to, if your computer reboots, the switch or one or both of the wires leading to the switch are bad.
