Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : W95 shut down hangs at Please Wait... Solo 06-23-1999, 04:27 AM W95 shut down hangs at Please Wait and will not make it to "ok to power down" screen. Also effects shut down to dos or rebooting W95 when changing settings.... All available diagnostics have not helped (scandisk, Nuts&Bolts, FA98,Tweak.....) Thank you for any ideas in advance. SS sjs74 06-23-1999, 02:40 PM Occasionally I've seen a machine that a network card causes this. It happens even more often if you have file/printer sharing enabled. Try disabling your network card (if you have one) just to see if that is where it is coming from and then go from there. Solo 06-23-1999, 04:26 PM Thanks....
