Hello,
Please could some one give me some advice, my friend has just had broadband put in, but it seems to be running very slow??? like a 56K modem. The broadband is a external modem.
He is running XP Home and Norton antivirus software. I went through all the settings and they all seem to be fine, the only thing I think it could be, is the Norton antivirus software causing a problem.

Thanks for your help in advance

With Kind Regards

And if the system is clean you should try this: Optimizing & Measuring the "Speed" of Internet Connection. (http://www.ezlan.net/Internet_Speed.html)
