My first Question here ever.... I have a Graphics blaster 16Mb RIVA tnt vid card. I seems to be really unstable to my eyes, I run at 1152x864 16 million. When I have the refresh jacked up to 80 or even 70, my entire viewable screen shakes. I have to set refresh down to adapter default in order to stop the shaking, but by then it's just your typical low refresh rate problems. Is the chip on the card running to hot, would cooling help it stop shaking at higher refresh rates? I really don't know.

Even when I'm running at lower resolutions, the screen will shake at higher refresh rates.

can somebody help me please?

Well, are you sure your monitor can handle the refresh at that resolution?

The vid card is only part of the equation. You need to verify that your monitor can take those settings. Dot pitch or aperture size has nothing to do with a monitors ability to refresh at a given resolution/clock speed.

Make sure that you are not running your monitor on interlaced.
