after upgrading my computer.. the cpu.. I got this problem, my computer says
UPDATING DMI...
and hangs, I tried the old processor and it still doesnt do anything, I heard that its possible I killed my CMOS battery, but I've looked over my motherboard and it doesnt have one.. any solutions?

(yes my mother board can handle the new processor and I set the jumpers.)

It's not your CMOS battery, if it were bad you wouldn't get that far, it probably wouldn't recognize your hard drive, when it hangs after is says "Updating DMI" this usually indicates a recource conflict, such as two devices trying to use the same IRQ or address, did you change any thing else or move any card around in the PCI slots?
